Bloomberg to compete with media agencies

More and more companies enter the advertising industry as consultants. Bloomberg is the first publisher to do so.

While the advertising side, especially print, is suffering, a new income stream was created. It will compete with media agencies and aims to consult clients on the best use of brand, corporate communication and marketing strategy.

The move comes because Google and Facebook increase their market share to nearly 60% this year. This puts a lot of pressure on quality publishers to survive.
