The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has released a report which shows that 87% of marketers are feeling pressured that their brands behave more ethically.

Social media is the main reason, as it gives the consumers more power. But currently, only 18% of marketers feel confident, that they can handle anything that social media is directing their way.

Furthermore, 31% of all marketers don't know, if they have a system in place to comply with the changes in the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Only 11% are confident that they will comply with these changes and the others are working on complying with it.
