30% of B2B marketers increased their marketing budgets

A study in Germany has shown that B2B companies have increased their marketing budgets nearly 30% in the last year. Advertising, events and PR are the main marketing vehicles.

B2B marketers tend to do their marketing themselves. Whereas most advertisers do media planning and buying in-house, 40% of the marketing budgets is spent on external event companies.

A significant shift was in PR. While in 2015, 44% of marketers outsourced their PR, in 2016 81% are doing it in-house.

Print advertising decreased year on year and 96% of marketers hired digital marketing specialists for their team.
