Banks always want to have a direct relationship with their customers. Until now, this happened in the bank branches but was limited to the online world.

However, the new buzz word is Conversational Banking. This means that people can interact with a device to speak about their finances. This can include just checking the balance, but as well to find out what percentage you had spent on going out last month.

Although your current bank may not offer this at the moment, clever fin-tech startups are filling this gap and start this conversation already nowadays. Banks should follow soon in order not to miss the trend.
